Clarity vs. Confusion

Ever had those moments in life where nothing seems to make sense even though you try your very best to put two and two together?

Well, who am I kidding? Without a doubt, every single person who has walked the face of this Earth has felt it, lived through it and most importantly got the better of it and conquered it 😊

In moments like these what I usually do is overthink, which is exactly the opposite of what you should do! I'll tell you why... Overthinking leads to confusion which in turn makes you lose the calm demeanor you would otherwise have. A few random uncalculated turns and your destination turns out to be in the middle of nowhere. yes, you not only arrive at the wrong destination but you are convinced that it's the right one

We've all been there and experienced this, right? So the big question is, how do we come out of without causing too much havoc in our lives?

Simple! As Muslims, we believe that actions are according to intentions

Umar bin Al-Khattab (May Allah be pleased with him), reported:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The deeds are considered by the intentions, and a person will get the reward according to his intention. So whoever emigrated for Allah and His Messenger, his emigration will be for Allah and His Messenger; and whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration would be for what he emigrated for"

[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

Moreover, we believe that nothing in this world is impossible for Allah because He is القادر, The All Capable and He mentions time and again 

 إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ قَدِیرࣱ

Certainly Allah has power over all things

So now do you believe me when I say that it's possible to find clarity in confusion? Couldn't crack the code? Need me to elaborate? Your patience in running thin? K k don't worry, I gotcha

So basically the only two thngs you've got to do is, correct intentions in addition to lots of supplications

That's it! Simple as pie

Thank me later guys. You owe me😜 Just kidding. You all don't owe me anything except du'as for a good life in this world and the next

So remember my lovelies. Next time your mind has lost it's way and it seems like you ar standing in the middle of the desrt, know with certainty that Allah is with you. He is السميع البصير The All Hearing The All Seeing. He loves you more than your own mother who gave birth to you does

Narated By 'Umar bin Al-Khattab : Some Sabi (i.e. war prisoners, children and woman only) were brought before the Prophet and behold, a woman amongst them was milking her breasts to feed and whenever she found a child amongst the captives, she took it over her chest and nursed it (she had lost her child but later she found him) the Prophet said to us, "Do you think that this lady can throw her son in the fire?" We replied, "No, if she has the power not to throw it (in the fire)." The Prophet then said, "Allah is more merciful to His slaves than this lady to her son."- Sahih Bukhari.

So the next time tears threaten to spill just raise your hands up to Him and you will see miracles unfold in front of your eyes sooner or later

Ready, Set, Go!

It's been a while since I came on here 😅I hope you all missed me because I missed you all loadsssss. Hope you all have been doing well. As a "sorry I was away" gift I'll be publishing two articles today😊

Ready, Set, Go!

"Barbeque party at the rooftop two days from today be there by 5 30pm"

we texted our friends a few months back

Within two days time we were able to arrange and delegate what each person's contribution would be

Two days passed by in the blink of an eye. Our friends arrived one by one and we headed to the rooftop

We got started on the barbeque at the same time laughing and chatting about the most random things. Time passed by in laughter and games. One of the games being a race from one end of the rooftop to the other

We kept our marks, got ready and set off at our highest speeds to reach the finish line. It was a very small distance but the winner among us felt so accomplished. To be honest, I don't even remember who the winner was

Do you want to know why?

It's because I consider all of us winners. You would probably scoff at me for saying this but it's the truth

Such is life. It's a journey from one point to another in time or to put it in simpler terms, a race or a marathon considering how long it is😁 Each one travels at their own pace striving to achieve what they define as success

We must learn to enjoy life within the bounds set by our Creator, Allah and know with conviction that each of us are in fact winners😊 regardless of what people may say.

Let me paint a clearer picture for you. In the race that day, the one who reached the finish line first will surely be happier first but even the  last person is bound to reach the finish line at her own pace. If each of us were blindfolded and ran the race we would have believed that we had come in first

In life we go through things sometimes sooner than others our age. We must know that age is merely a number and it's not a measure for success

Now let's analyse. What was hidden once we had our blindfolds on? Yup, that's right! It's the ability to compare ourselves to others.

Comparison is what gives preference to one over the other. A simple example to make it crystal clear - Had it not been for the different colours we wouldn't have had a favourite

So my dears, don't compare yourself. You are a winner. You were born to be one.

Sure, how and when you you win could differ from how and when your friends win. Keep one thing in mind though. 

You are on the right path to success as long as you are trying

 Believe it!

Each of my friends that day had been going through a different phase in life but the truth we didn't ak anyone feel bad that they are slower in life or anything of that sort

The true essence of life is to enjoy the present and prepare for the future by cheering others on and cheering yourself on as well

Treasure this gem of an advice. Do not compare yourself to others beacuse comparison tends to decrease the value of something in order to give value to the other. Enjoy what you have accomplished so far and try to be better than you were yesterday and also always keep trying
