السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
The other day a huge shopping center opened up in the city we live in and I was so hyped to go there and purchase some goodies for my humble abode. It took a truckload of convincing and begging and finally, the day arrived. All of us got ready including my cute little munchkin and we stepped out. We were all headed our separate ways once we got there and we zoomed through the aisles with joy on our faces for it was reasonable pricing.
My little one didn't trouble me at all throughout the day since she was fresh and well-fed from home. Not to forget the hours of sleep she had beforehand.
However, that's beside the point. I was given an amount that I could spend on myself, the house, and my daughter. I was more than ecstatic since it had been ages since I went shopping for myself.
With the given amount, I was roaming around taking all that I thought I needed.
We all met at the counter coincidentally yet necessarily. Finding out I had more in my cart than I could take back with me. So I had to return all that I took except the most essential.
P.s. I'm not saying you that I'm broke although it may sound like it.
After returning home, I was satisfied with all that I had gotten and all that I left behind. Content.
Upon pondering, a thought struck me. This experience was sort of like an analogy to life.
We went to the shopping center just like we were sent on Earth
Our time here is limited just like the money we got to spend on ourselves
The good deeds and bad deeds we do will come with us leaving all of the materialistic things behind just like the things I bought and the things I didn't.
Subhan Allah
After this deep thought occurred, I was more focused on my goal. The real purpose of all Muslims, Jannah.
